Grossbard Yehoshua

Yehoshua Grossbard, Painter, Paper Cuts artist. Was born in 1902, Poland. Immigrated 1939.

Studies: 1926-28 Vilna, painting; 1955 Paris.

Prizes: 1958 Malach Prize, Ein Hod; 1965 Herman Struck Prize.

A founder of Ein Hod Artists’ Village.

In the sixties produced paper-cuts on festival and literary subject.

Grossbard died 1992.
